It also does well in our cooling tests, although we're not fans of its gimmicky polygon handles and the crisper bins feel a little flimsy.

Bespoke is a feature that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It allows you to customize your refrigerator with removable colored panels. There are 11 colors to choose from that range from soft pastels to bolder hues and four metallic finishes. Some of the panels can be customized by adding photos or text, making the fridge a more personal touch point that will match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.

You can also alter the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is nice. And the refrigerator's interior is finished in a way that reduces smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its slightly cramped beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-in-door feature which houses a water jug and a dispenser. You need to feel for the lever located on the underside of the door about halfway down. When you locate it the second door opens up inside the fridge, housing the docking station for the pitcher as well as the water dispenser.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen foods and comes with an impressive slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food item you're looking for without opening the entire compartment.
