Goethe-Zertifikat Egzamin Teoretyczny A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below only shows reserved time periods not confirmed exams. Check with your instructor whether or not a course has its final exam during this time.

Be sure to read the Goethe exam terms and guidelines on each exam's page prior to making a decision to register. Be sure to register with the correct exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please consult individual exam pages for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam information. If you require special accommodations due to chronic illness or visual or hearing impairment, contact the exam provider directly. Make sure to submit a thorough documentation upon registration.

The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes the option of "View My Teaching Schedule" that allows faculty to discover their exam schedules. In addition the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for courses where an exam is required by NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes in the evening are scheduled during the regular class times of the final exams.

Please take note that the Projected University Examination Schedule is intended as a rough guideline and [Redirect-302] that final exam dates are subject to change.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. It is important to keep in mind that the schedule for exams may be altered at any time. Students should therefore inquire with their instructors to confirm the exact time and date of their test. Students should also print out the official list of questions to bring with them to the exam.

Students should also be familiar with the rules and conditions of the exam in addition to the schedule. These are on the webpage for each exam. Students acknowledge having read and accepted the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate participants who have special needs. The nature and severity of these requirements must be stated on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. Additionally, the exam locations must respect and maintain confidentiality.

If students are scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to schedule a retake test. It is possible to have three exams on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and can affect the quality. Additionally, the professor might not be able offer a makeup exam on a different day.

Students should review the course material prior to taking the test and work on their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that tests your ability to read, speak, and write German. The results of the exam are presented on a scale from kurs motocyklowy a1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has reached the level of language egzamin na kategorię a1. This level is the first level of the six-level scale of competence laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free of cost. Students should bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. If they do not present an ID with a valid photo will be disqualified from the examination.

Practice tests allow you to get a feel for the style, wording, and difficulty of the questions on the test. They let you assess your proficiency, identify areas of knowledge that aren't covered and increase your chances of passing the exam.

Please note that the fee for exams is not refundable. Exam results are only sent via email and not by phone.
