This robot vacuum (published here)-mop makes an excellent choice for those who live in apartments as it has a smaller docking system and has its own garbage bin. Its application lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and the mops are stunning. It picks up pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself and refills its tank.

Roomba iRobot Combination

The iRobot Combo is a robot that can vacuum and mop. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app that's mobile and more user-friendly however it's a great alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other features like LiDAR, yet it managed to prevent most collisions with furniture and other clutter.

The Combo includes many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus does, including onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it doesn't have the ability to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vac-only model, and doesn't come with an auto-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its elegant design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some elegant touches, like the leather tab that opens the bin that is onboard and a shelf to hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already made a name for itself due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while the brand's mopping systems feature vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. Additionally, a variety of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the cleaning schedule of the bot to your home's specific needs.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot see objects that are lower than its height. This is especially helpful for the most popular Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation, thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been often seen to crash into furniture and slam into pet faeces without noticing, but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using an AI system called Reactive that makes use of twin cameras to discern the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots are also equipped with several convenience features that reduce the need for daily maintenance, such as auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. They remove the need to manually empty bins and wash mops, which makes for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its straightforward layout and its lag-free communication with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

It also has an emergency button' that will force the robot to return home when its power goes out. It can also be set to turn off automatically if the threat of storms is imminent.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy at nearly 4kg, you won't experience any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to avoid stairs will be appreciated by those with smaller children. Once it is charged the device will take only about a couple of hours to recharge and the two buttons at the top will blink in green to indicate that it is ready for use.

While it can't raise its mops on carpets and rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling damp mopping duties with impressive speed. It comes with a self-emptying bin, a superior level of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a top-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than its competitors, and its main brush is a bit shorter but it was able to do an impressive job in our test room. The revolving edge brush on the side is a great feature. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it still did a good job.

The device can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation.
