The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it can be accomplished easily. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for most people however it will help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the top in the market however, it's costly.

It's not able navigate stairs as well as competitors, for instance and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great robot vacuum cleaner amazon vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive, but offers more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile ones.

You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The main aspect that sets the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with the boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
