WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade item their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item upgrade from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool using an The button will show the item upgrade's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for instance. Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used on gear of a specific rank, and each rank has different requirements for upgrading. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, based on the type of gear being upgraded.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance, it's best to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests with the Best item upgrade gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly applicable to trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to benefit from the account-wide discount if all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
