WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random additional substat is also increased with every upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level upgrade (find more information) level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will show an item's preview at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current item upgrades level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currencies.

Crests

Players have several options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more special and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

First, you should know that crests are only available for equipment that is that is of a particular rank. Each rank comes with a different upgrade path. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, based on the kind of equipment that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be done by engaging in outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in all difficulties to get equipment of lower tier or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can then be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the process of upgrading. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one use, so it's important to use them wisely. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially applicable to trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
