However, the error code won't appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult as there are two different connector pins, and they have different functions but the best method to test it is by measuring resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read approximately 1000 ohms when the sensor is in full operation. Examine for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing issues with this component.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors weren't firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, three were soaked with gazoline and the fourth one was dry. When i crank the engine, there are no sparks i put tissue on the top of each of the injector holes, the 3 drenched with gazoline pop out, but the 4th one stays shut. I checked the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 i get zero Ohm. So i assume the problem is in another place.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car key replacement Audi will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it runs fine with the G28 connected. However the intermittent misfire issue still occurs at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it.
